Annehurst Veterinary Hospital Medical and Special Needs Boarding It is never easy to leave a pet, especially those with medical conditions or older pets. Let us give you the peace of mind that we can be there to take care of your pet while you are away. Our Annehurst Veterinary Hospital location provides boarding for those with medical needs or dogs and cats requiring special attention. Regular observations and scheduled treatments are performed at the owner’s or doctor’s request. This is an asset to animals with specific health conditions such as diabetics, geriatrics seizure watches, and post surgical or trauma patients. All medical boarders are under the care of Veterinary Technicians and assistants 24 hours. Appetite, attitude and general physical condition are closely monitored. In the event of a medical concern; a veterinarian will asses your pet and contact you with a recommended treatment plan. Big Walnut Animal Care Center is our Standard Boarding Our Big Walnut Animal Care Center location is a state of the art veterinary supervised dog and cat boarding facility. Fully heated and air conditioned to keep pets comfortable. All boarding dogs are provided with a sleeping area to give the feeling of a den with an attached indoor run for exercise. Our dedicated staff is committed to the care, safety, and cleanliness of all the boarding pets. Some facilities have been known to double up animals by dividing sleeping areas and run areas to pack in more animals. We guarantee that we will never divide your pets run to allow for more boarding animals to stay with us. If you would like we can bathe your pet while it is staying with us so that it comes home fresh and clean. Prices vary depending on size and coat. We offer T.L.C. packages at our Big Walnut location that you may sign up for while your pet is staying with us giving them one on one play time. If your pet likes to play hard or just sit on our laps we will be happy to make your pets stay as enjoyable as possible. While at either location you can be assured that your pet will be provided the best of care by our well trained staff that has a passion for animals.
